After a long time, the research “Social Distance of Ethnic Communities in Serbia” conducted by the Institute of Social Sciences provided valid data on interethnic relations in Serbia, integration potential of minority communities, satisfaction of members of national minorities with exercising the right to minority self-government and cultural autonomy and discrimination.
In addition to the scientific, this research has a social significance, and it should be especially useful for public policies that indicate the basic trends in the policy of multiculturalism in Serbia.
